Concentrations

Security

Students who choose an emphasis in security will prepare themselves for careers in private policing, security management and loss prevention. Major employers include hotels, hospitals, theme parks (e.g., Disney World, Universal Studios), retail corporations and numerous other industries where issues of white-collar crime and loss prevention are major concerns. The security profession is the fastest-growing segment of the criminal justice system.
