GRADUATE PROGRAMSFinancing Your DegreeGeneral InformationA variety of opportunities exist for financial assistance through the Graduate School of Criminal Justice. There are teaching and research assistantships that provide a stipend and the remission of tuition. In addition, there are George Lewis Ruffin Fellowships for minority students which provide tuition remission and a stipend. Awards on made on the basis of scholarly merit and professional experience rather than financial need. The number of these awards is limited and early application is suggested. All application materials including the must be received by March 31 to be considered for a graduate assistantship. We are pleased to introduce a new academic investment policy for graduate programs recently announced by Northeastern University. Qualified individuals that are accepted and enroll in the Graduate School of Criminal Justice as full-time students may be eligible for a tuition discount. Students that enroll on a part-time basis may also be eligible for a tuition discount.
