Russell Wolff

Background:
Russell Wolff is a Senior Research Associate with the Center for Criminal Justice Policy Research and the Institute on Race and Justice at Northeastern University. His research interests include police management, gang and youth violence, and urban public policy. Mr. Wolff is currently part of the Northeastern research team partnering with the city of New Bedford on the Shannon Community Safety Initiative, a state-funded effort to prevent and address youth gang violence. Mr. Wolff also managed the evaluation of the Police Integrity grant program funded by the COPS Office in the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to coming to Northeastern, Mr. Wolff was a researcher at the Institute for Law and Justice, a criminal justice research and consulting firm in Alexandria, VA. He holds an M.S. degree in Justice, Law and Society from the School of Public Affairs at American University and is currently a doctoral student in the Criminology and Justice Policy program at Northeastern.
