Jack R. Greene

Position: Professor Jack Greene, a 1973 magna cum laude graduate of Northeastern's College of Criminal Justice, was installed as the new dean of the College of Criminal Justice in 1999. Before joining Northeastern, Greene served as director of the Center for Public Policy at Temple University. He has also served as director of the Public Service Management Institute for Executive Level Managers at Temple and as chair of the graduate and undergraduate programs in the Department of Criminal Justice. Recognized as one of the country's leading scholars in the field of policing, Greene has published four books, five monographs and dozens of journal articles and book chapters. He has consulted for various agencies and organizations, including the Philadelphia Police Department, the Justice Department, the National Institute of Justice and the Rand Corp. |
